When small businesses can't afford to provide healthcare coverage, increased absenteeism is a consequence that can cripple a firm's ability to serve its customers. Healthy Northeast Access, a non-profit organization, hired Longbotham Strategic Marketing to educate the regional business community on the benefits of their new healthcare access program. The program provided connections to a network of providers offering free or reduced-fee medical care for the uninsured and underinsured. Introduced as a cohesive community education program, in both English and Spanish, components of the marketing strategy included a logo design, brochures, print advertising, trade show displays, health information booklets, public relations activities, media outreach and more.
